 Corporate TrainingLeading on key partnership agreement with EDEN PROJECT that sets out opportunities for collaboration on a range of sustainability related initiatives including education and skills development programmes aimed at community groups as well as the corporate world. |  Graduate DevelopmentI initiated a business case to improve graduate experience of project management and line management, while supporting the UK's largest STEM event, and working to meet recruitment agendas for HR and Engineering functions. It gained full executive backing and finance, national press coverage, a business excellence award for the team and a personal letter of commendation from the HR director. |  Closing The Skills GapTo help the ILP reach an audience beyond lighting designers, and to help industry with the issue of obtrusive light, I led the collaborative development of a new course with the ILP. Our focus was on finding the right audience and needs analysis to make the content relevant. |

 University Sustainability CourseDeveloped a sustainability course to be worked into existing degree programmes, that is currently being used by the University of Nottingham and University of Reading. Proposals are also in place with Dundee, Wales St Trinity and China. It's aim is three fold; creating links between universities and industry, helping students with a passion for sustainability find work, and linking employers with suitable graduates. |  Supporting SME'sDomestic Energy Assessors can gain more work and increase income if they can offer further services to their clients. A course on professional property photography is a useful skill and can be completed while at a property undertaking assessments. This partnership was brokered to bring these practical skills and membership to out clients. |  Creating MembershipsSupported development of the BRE Academy Membership offering, helping to define the goals at concept design phase. Later creating social media groups to interact with members and free online tutorials on current 'hot topics'. |
 Business DevelopmentAfter contributing to forums in my areas of expertise I was invited to speak on a panel at LuxLive 2013. This led to some fantastic contacts and the building of a new collaboration with the ILP as we move into 2015, the UN Year of Light! |  Engineering CPDI wrote strategic papers and made recommendations to the executive, which led to a roll out of CPD sessions for designers and training initiatives for plant managers and operations and management employees. I worked collaboratively with the framework supplier to remedy quality issues and create appropriate procedures. |  Sports DevelopmentAs President I grew the membership 400% to become the largest sports club at the university. I gained £5,000 funding to buy new equipment, brought in mentoring for learners, and increased our league table ranking. At the annual sports dinner we were awarded the 'Most Improved Club Award'. |
 Media CampaignsI achieved 22,000 hits on the Virgin Media website in just 4 weeks with no budget. This was done through PR, free media and social networking, gaining me the top prize worth over £5,000. |
